This bailout is a freaking joke

"A former top executive at Merrill Lynch who received a $25 million golden parachute after just three months of work has purchased a $37 million Park Avenue palace."

Wish i could "work" a few days and get 25 mil

Should have put the money at the "middle class" level. These excs are one big problem with American Industry. Saw a study once that said the avg Jap exc made 3-4 times mory than the guy working in the factory. Americans made more like 3-400 times the avg American worker.

Bankruptcy for them would not have been the end of the world. They would have managed to survive through reorganization. Bailing out private industry is not what our tax money is for.

So you are against the small business loans and similar programs?

File bankruptcy what happens to all the folks that want warranty coverage? And the autoworkers got a small chunk- the loan industry gets most of the cash, and sends it overseas. Common man's money, just split it up and I'll spend it. That would work as well as this plan. Our "Free enterprise" sucks, when our own workers have to compete with slave labor and countries that don't care for human rights. It is a steady progression the the child labor days.
